Bahia Resort | Mission Bay | Andreea and Allen’s Wedding Photography

The Bahia resort was the perfect location for Andreea and Allen’s wedding.  With plenty of lush landscaping for poses, as well as wonderful water view, portraits on their day were a breeze.  The waterside ceremony at Bay Beach was full of wind and laugher, and the William D. Evan’s boat was a fantastic way to celebrate during the reception.  Purple table cloths were accents by uplighting and beautiful flower arrangements, and the dance floor was full all night.  We enjoyed capturing your day for you!

The Bahia Resort is a favorite for shooting because of its wide variety of backgrounds, and shooting on one of their boats is always fun!  Here is a description from their website:

Bahia Resort Hotel offers some of San Diego’s most memorable wedding ceremony venues. Embrace the natural beauty of the area with a beachside locale complete with a backdrop of the sparkling waters of Mission Bay. Say “I do” in the exclusive tropical gazebo or intimate pavilion. Our team of professionals is ready to make your wedding dreams come true.

BAY BEACH

A wedding venue capacity for up to 500 guests, enjoy this bayfront ceremony location on the peaceful, sheltered beach on Mission Bay. Your friends and family will enjoy the soft sea breezes as they watch you exchange vows against a backdrop of calm water and sweeping views of the hills around the city. After the ceremony, host your reception in one of the beachfront rooms, or opt to cruise on one of the sternwheeler boats for a truly unique celebration.

WILLIAM D. EVANS

The majestic William D. Evans can host wedding parties from 100 to 200 for a one-of-a-kind wedding day. The custom-built sternwheeler boat stretches more than 100 feet in length, from the tip of her three handcrafted wooden masts to the edge of her twelve-ton paddlewheel. Plan a ceremony at sunset on the quiet waters of Mission Bay, then let your guests enjoy a luxurious two-hour cruise surrounded by the vintage ambiance of ornamental pressed tin ceilings, winding wooden staircases, and stained glass skylights. Your guests can enjoy the Boiler Room Bar on the first level before heading to the dining salon upstairs. The promenade on the third level is perfect for dancing under the stars.
