Megan and Sean’s wedding started at Saint Brigid Parish church where Sean saw his bride for the first time walking down the aisle. After some quick poses on the wedding trolley from Old Town Trolleys, the celebration continued at the charming Darlington House. The garden reception segued into an evening perfect for dancing under the stars. Congratulations!

Darlington House is alive with designs and details from many cultures. Enter into a foyer with an Italianate chandelier and a romantic sweeping staircase. The warmly decorated living room’s double French doors lead to the Egyptian Patio, which features a beautiful, colorfully tiled fountain surrounded by lush succulents and wispy grasses. A stroll away, the Andalusian Patio is adorned with Roman arches and Azulejo tiles in the style of southern Spain. Another step takes you into the Library, inspired by Moorish architecture and filled with the changing shadows of sunset and the warmth of a Moroccan fireplace. Further on is the Rose Garden’s charming brick patio, surrounded by roses, succulents, camellias, and a bubbling tiled fountain.
The Andalusian Patio features stunning Roman arches as well as benches and flooring made with Azulejo tile. Modeled after the style of Southern Spain and opening to the Rose Garden, the Andalusian Patio seats 80 guests for a ceremony surrounded by charm.
The Egyptian Patio also opens to the Rose Garden and dazzles with a fountain and colorful classic Egyptian tile lining the pool. With lush surrounding greenery and bricked walkways, the Egyptian Patio seats 125 guests for a ceremony surrounding the fountain.
The Rose Garden is a fragrant floral utopia that surrounds guests with roses and azaleas. This open-air space seats 200 guests theater style and 200 at tables.
The Library features dark wooden bookcases, a Moroccan fireplace and a gorgeous staircase that invokes Moorish architecture. Perfect for intimate events, the Library seats 50 guests theater style for an intimate ceremony or 32 guests at tables for a cozy reception. At larger events, most clients utilize the library for a unique bar setting.
The Living and Dining Rooms feature plush armchairs, a warm fireplace, a stunning dining table and double French doors that lead to the Egyptian Patio. Up to 50 guests can be seated theater style, or 40 can be accommodated at tables.
Upstairs Suites offer a serene and generous space for your entire bridal party to relax before your ceremony. Sunlight floods the wallpapered rooms, making the suites a photographer’s dream.
